For an academic year I represented startup clients through the University of Michigan Law School’s Entrepreneurship Clinic, handling the spectrum of legal work required to incorporate, raise capital, protect IP, and hire talent.
What I Led / Delivered / Highlights
- Advised founders on entity formation, conversions, equity compensation, and securities compliance.
- Drafted terms of use, privacy policies, employment agreements, and independent contractor agreements tailored to client needs.
- Conducted client-specific research and maintained ongoing counseling relationships through office hours and workshops.
- Authored blog posts unpacking emerging startup law topics for the university’s entrepreneurial community.

The clinic work equipped founders with foundational legal infrastructure and gave me hands-on experience supporting startups at their earliest inflection points.
