I designed UCLA Extension’s first “AI for Product Management” course to equip product teams with a practical framework for spotting, scoping, and shipping AI-powered solutions. The program bridges strategy, responsible development, and delivery rigor for students bringing projects back to employers like Apple, Disney, NBCUniversal, Microsoft, Boeing, and Northrop.
What I Led / Delivered / Highlights
- Developed the course curriculum in 2024 and have continuously taught it since Winter ’25.
- Guided student capstone projects end-to-end, helping them translate course frameworks into real initiatives inside their companies.
- Scaled enrollment by 150% quarter-over-quarter through 2025, prompting UCLA to expand sections for 2026.
- Advised UCLA Extension leadership on AI certificate design, industry trends, and governance considerations.
- Delivered public seminars such as “Spotting AI Opportunities: A Framework for Product Management” to extend the program’s reach.
