Quick Snapshot

Mandate / Opportunity / Problem Scope

GenCog is an AI advisory practice that helps organizations adopt AI responsibly and effectively. Most organizations know they need to "do something with AI" but lack the institutional knowledge to distinguish real capability from hype, evaluate build-vs-buy tradeoffs, or stand up governance frameworks that protect them without paralyzing adoption. GenCog bridges that gap through hands-on advisory spanning governance design, workforce training and enablement, build-vs-buy evaluation, use-case prioritization, and implementation strategy.

Alongside the advisory practice, GenCog operates as a small digital lab building AI-powered tools for thought and creativity, exploring novel interaction paradigms inspired by the legacy of pioneers like Douglas Engelbart, Bill Atkinson, Alan Kay, and Bret Victor.

Impact / Lasting Value / Takeaway

GenCog engagements move organizations from ad hoc AI experimentation to structured, governed adoption. The combination of governance-first framing, practitioner-level technical depth, and implementation planning means clients don't just get a policy document or a training session; they get an institutional understanding of what AI can and cannot do, and a concrete plan to act on it.
